Spring Series Double Header at Kingsville in the books!! Posted by Troy Wohlberg — May 10, 2010 @ 10:26AM
Blustery winds and cooler temperatures couldn't stop the racing this weekend as rounds 3 and 4 finally got under way last weekend at Challenge Trax in Kingsville. Nearly 300 bikes over Saturday and Sunday hit the track and the racing was good in all classes. The Wind really did a number on the track conditions on Saturday leaving it pretty dry and slick, but that didn't stop Austin Forkner and Reid Wheeler from dominating their classes. Wheeler took home 4 overall victories in the 50 7-8, 50 open, 65 6-8, and 65 open classes as well as a pocket full of Bart's Bucks! Austin Forkner was also dominant taking overall wins in the 85 7-11 class and the 85 Open.

On Sunday the winds had died down some and the track came in alot better for Mother's Day. Tadg Stack was a big winner on Sunday with wins in the 50 7-8 and 50 Open classes. And Robby Mazza came out to show everyone the fast way around the track taking home wins in the 450 Intermediate class and Big Bike Open. Dawn Self was the big winner on the day though as she took home the win in the special Mother's Day Mom race at intermission. It was a hotly contested battle with the top three being Dawn Self, Tracy Hiatt, and Melissa Gallette!
